Yorkshire and the Humber Roadworks Update; Saturday 13 March to Friday 19 March
M1, Junction 30 (Barlborough) to Junction 31 (Aston), south of Sheffield Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston) due to sign repair work. There will be two lanes closed on the northbound carriageway overnight from 9pm on 18 March until 5am on 19 March.
M1, Junction 32 (Thurcroft) to Junction 33 (Catcliffe), south of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 32 (Thurcroft) and Junction 33 (Catcliffe) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures in both directions between 9pm and 6am until 16 March.
M1, Junction 33 (Catcliffe) to Junction 34 (Tinsley), south and west of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 33 (Catcliffe) and Junction 34 (Tinsley) due to carriageway renewal works. There will be some lane and hard shoulder closures in each direction, and a 50mph speed restriction enforced by average speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 17 April.
M1, Junction 34 North, near Meadowhall
Slight delays are expected overnight at Junction 34 North (Meadowhall) due to signal works. There will be various lane closures on the northern roundabout, the southbound exit slip road and the A631 northern approach to the roundabout. Work takes place from 15 March to 14 May between 9pm and 5am.
M1, Junction 38 (Haigh), north of Barnsley Slight delays are expected on the M1 at Junction 38 (Haigh) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures on the southbound carriageway until 17 March. Work takes place over 24 hours.
M62, Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) to Junction 23 (Outlane), west of Huddersfield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 (Outlane) due to central reserve barrier works. There will be two lanes closed in both directions between 8pm and 6am until 1 April.
M62, Junction 24 (Ainley Top) to Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor), north and west of Huddersfield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 24 (Ainley Top) and Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) due to resurfacing. There will be various lane closures, with drivers using the hard shoulder on the westbound carriageway between 9pm and 6am until 28 March.
M62, Junction 25 (Brighouse) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Bradford and Leeds Moderate delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 25 (Brighouse) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to central reservation barrier works. Lane 3 will be closed in each direction with traffic using the hard shoulder. There will also be narrow lanes and a mandatory 50mph speed restriction enforced by average-speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 17 June.
M62, Junction 29 (Lofthouse) to Junction 30 (Rothwell), south of Leeds Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 29 (Lofthouse) and Junction 30 (Rothwell) due to verge barrier, drainage and junction improvements. There will be various lane closures in both directions, narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed restriction enforced by average-speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 30 April.
In addition, slight delays are expected at Junction 29 (Lofthouse) due to bridge work. The east and westbound carriageways of the M62 will be closed from 15 to 31 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion will operate via the exit slip roads up to the top deck of the Lofthouse interchange and back down the entry slip roads where the traffic will rejoin the M62 motorway.
M62, Junction 33 (Castleford) to Junction 38 (North Cave), east of Wakefield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 33 (Castleford) and Junction 38 (North Cave) due to resurfacing. There will be various lane closures, slip road closures and hard shoulder running on the eastbound carriageway until 16 March between 8pm and 6am. Diversions operate via the next junction when slip roads are closed.
M180, Junction 4 (Broughton), east of Scunthorpe Slight delays are expected on the M180 at Junction 4 (Broughton) due to resurfacing. There will be two lanes closed on the eastbound carriageway overnight from 8pm on 15 March until 6am on 16 March.
M606, Junction 1 (Chain Bar) to Junction 3 (Staygate), south of Bradford Slight delays are expected on the M606 between Junction 1 (Chain Bar) and Junction 3 (Staygate) due to resurfacing. The north and southbound carriageways will be closed between 8pm and 6am from 15 to 28 March. Diversions operate via the A58, A650 and A6177.
A1(M), Junction 34 (Blyth) to Junction 35 (Wadworth), south of Doncaster Moderate delays are expected on the A1(M) between Junction 34 (Blyth) and Junction 35 (Wadworth) due to bridge and resurfacing works. The northbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am from 19 to 22 March. A diversion will operate via the local road network.
A1(M), Junction 36 (Warmsworth), west of Doncaster Slight delays are expected at Junction 36 (Warmsworth) of the A1(M) due to bridge works. The north and southbound carriageways will be closed overnight from 8pm on 14 March until 6am on 15 March, with a diversion route operating via Junction 37.
The southbound carriageway will again be closed overnight on 16 March, followed by an overnight closure of the northbound carriageway on 17 March, with a diversion via Junction 36. The northbound entry slip road will then be closed overnight on 18 March with a diversion via Junction 35. All three closures take place between 9pm and 6am.
A62, Gildersome, south of Leeds
Moderate delays are expected on the A62 at Gildersome due to bridge work. The north and southbound carriageways will be closed between 10pm and 6am on 19 and 20 March. A diversion will operate via the local road network.
A63, North Ferriby to Castle Street, Hull Slight delays are expected on the A63 in Hull between North Ferriby and Castle Street due to resurfacing. There will be convoy working on the eastbound carriageway between 8pm and 6am from 15 to 27 March.
A63, Garrison Road roundabout, Hull
Slight delays are expected on the A63 in Hull at Garrison Road roundabout due to junction improvement works. There will be various lane closures east and westbound from 19 to 28 March over 24 hours.
A64, Pickering Interchange, north east of York Slight delays are expected on the A64 at Pickering Interchange due to slip road barrier works. There will be various lane closures on the eastbound and westbound exit and entry slip roads between 9.30am and 3.30pm until 26 March.
A64, Hopgrove to Harton, north east of York Slight delays are expected on the A64 between Hopgrove roundabout and Harton due to resurfacing. There will be various lane closures in both directions until 10 April between 8pm and 6am.
A64, East Heslerton, north east of York
Slight delays are expected on the A64 at East Heslerton due to resurfacing. There will be convoy working eastbound and westbound until 18 March between 8pm and 6am.
A64, Tadcaster to Seamer, west and north-east of York Slight delays are expected on the A64 between Tadcaster and Seamer due to resurfacing. There will be short sections of convoy working east and westbound from 15 March to 31 March between 8pm and 6am.
A1033, Marfleet to Salt End, Hull
Slight delays are expected on the A1033 in Hull between Marfleet and Salt End due to resurfacing. There will be convoy working on the westbound carriageway between 8pm and 6am from 15 to 18 March.
