Schmitz Cargobull supplies four more trailers to Ocean
Schmitz Cargobull has supplied transportation firm Ocean Trailers with four new refrigerated trailers, bringing Ocean’s trailer fleet to over 30 vehicles.
The reefers, as they’re known, will be used to deliver short-shelf life dairy produce from Holland to distribution centres and retail outlets throughout the UK.
Liveried in Ocean Trailers’ corporate colours, the vehicles are fitted with Carrier fridge units and Masternaut Three X’s temperature monitoring and trailer tracking technology.
The easy to clean Schmitz Cargobull reefers are particularly suited for the transport of foodstuffs. The box unit is made from Schmitz Cargobull’s patented Ferroplast panels which are bonded together to offer the highest standards of hygiene and to reduce maintenance over the trailer’s working life.
Ocean Trailers has been buying Schmitz Cargobull trailers for more than half of its 20-year existence and the majority of the company’s trailer fleet are Schmitz Cargobull products.
Ocean’s new trailers were built in the UK at Schmitz Cargobull’s manufacturing plant at Harelaw, County Durham, and were purchased outright.
