The Fuelcard People experience increased demand

has recruited three additional account managers in response to growing demand for discounted diesel and petrol.

Steve Clarke, general manager, said: “With every business needing to cut costs, making real savings on fuel is increasingly vital. Expanding the team means that we can maintain the highest service levels for all customers, continuing to give each a dedicated account manager.”

Anson Stoute will mainly be serving users of Shell fuel cards, while Samantha Booker will focus on Diesel Direct fuel card users. Both will also work with customers using the Total fuel card, being added to the industry’s widest range of fuel cards during the coming weeks. Jack Flanagan will specialise in serving trade associations and their members, regardless of which fuel cards they choose. He will also serve the growing numbers of public sector bodies achieving cost savings with The Fuelcard People.

“A key reason for our success is that we do not expect customers to deal with an anonymous call centre,” said Steve Clarke. “Anson, Samantha and Jack are all very experienced and will be valuable additions to the team that complements fuel cost savings with real personal service. Customers appreciate that, if they ever have a query, they always talk to the same person who is only a phone call away and ready to help.”

The Fuelcard People offers an unmatched range of fuel cards enabling users to refuel at thousands of filling stations nationwide. It includes fuel cards valid at BP, Esso, Shell, Texaco, Q8, Jet, Gulf, Spot, Murco, Morrisons, Somerfield and Moto filling stations, plus the Keyfuels Diesel Direct network, with the Total network about to be added. This degree of choice means that customers are not pushed towards any particular fuel card, but receive impartial advice on the most appropriate for their specific needs.
