Sheffield Arena’s new name unveiled today

Motorpoint To Take Naming Rights For Sheffield Arena

The new name for the Sheffield Arena will be officially unveiled on Monday, August 9.

The car supermarket group has made a seven-figure investment in the city to rename the internationally-renowned venue from August 2010 onwards in a five-year deal.

The new name will be exclusively unveiled at 11am on Monday, August 9 jointly by Gary Warren, Managing Director of Motorpoint and Rob O’Shea, General Manager of the Arena. Also present will be Paul Scrivens, Head of Sheffield City Council. All three will be available for interviews and photographs.

The launch starts at 11am on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Sheffield Arena. Food and drink will be available after the event.
