WEST MIDLANDS MOTORWAY AND TRUNK ROADS MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME 1 – 7 NOVEMBER
M6 Junction 2 (Ansty)
The northbound entry slip road of the M6 at junction 2 will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 1 November 2010 to Saturday 6 October 2010 for the installation of traffic signals and traffic sensors. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 6 (Gravelly Hill Interchange) Link roads on the A38(M) Aston Expressway leaving Birmingham city centre heading to M6 junction 6 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 1 November 2010 to Thursday 4 November 2010 for carriageway resurfacing. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 5 (Solihull)
The southbound exit slip road of the M42 at junction 5 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Friday 5 November 2010 to Saturday 6 November 2010 for carriageway repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 6 (N.E.C. / Birmingham Airport) The southbound entry slip road of the M42 at junction 6 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Tuesday 2 November 2010 to Wednesday 3 November 2010 and again from Thursday 4 November 2010 to Friday 5 November 2010 for carriageway repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 11 (Ashby-De-La-Zouch)
The northbound carriageway between the exit & entry slip roads of the M42 at junction 11 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 1 November 2010 to Saturday 6 November 2010 for bridge inspections. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 Wolstanton
The southbound exit slip road of the A500 at Wolstanton will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 1 November 2010 to Saturday 6 November 2010 for resurfacing, associated works and routine maintenance activities. Not at the same time as Etruria (SRW 1248647) or Porthill (SRW 1248661) slip roads. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 Porthill
Northbound exit and entry slip roads and southbound entry slip roads of the A500 at Porthill will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 1 November 2010 to Saturday 6 November 2010 for resurfacing, associated works and routine maintenance activities. Not all slip roads will be closed at the same time and will not be at the same time as Wolstanton (SRW 1248656) or Etruria (SRW 1248647) slip roads. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
A500 Etruria
Northbound entry slip roads and southbound exit slip roads of the A500 at Etruria will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 1 November 2010 to Saturday 6 November 2010 for resurfacing, associated works and routine maintenance activities. Not all slip roads will be closed at the same time and will not be closed at the same time as Wolstanton (SRW 1248656) or Porthill (SRW 1248661) slip roads. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.
