Leasedrive Velo signs 3 year agreement with Avis
Leasedrive Rental Management, one of the UK’s largest short-term vehicle rental management companies in the corporate market place and the rental management division of the Leasedrive Velo Group, has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Avis UK for the provision of rental vehicles, which will see its customers having access to nearly 220,000 vehicles from more than 1,200 locations in the UK including airports. The agreement will initially be for a three-year period.
Commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “We are absolutely delighted to add Avis to our list of approved vehicle rental suppliers. This new agreement will provide access to additional vehicles and locations for our rental customers plus the provision at UK airports of a fast-track rental service called Leasedrive Velo Express.”
Anthony Ainsworth, sales director of Avis UK, said: “Avis is delighted Leasedrive Velo has found the proposition compelling and is looking forward to a long partnership providing nationwide car rental services. This win is testament to the bespoke corporate offerings Avis is able to provide its customers including Leasedrive Velo.”
Leasedrive Velo Rental Management has a simple national pricing policy with no hidden surcharges. The division offers free unlimited mileage for short-term rental, free nationwide/home/out-of-hours delivery and collection, free one-way rentals, free express airport check-in and free unlimited mileage.
The Leasedrive Velo Rental Management reservations and customer service centre handles bookings by telephone, fax and e-mail, whilst its interactive online reservation system, Rental:Manager allows bookings to be made quickly; in less than 20 seconds for regular users.
For rentals of 28 days or more, Leasedrive Velo Rental Management offers the Stopgap Mid-term Vehicle Rental solution and for rentals of 90 days or more there is Stopgap Plus, which provides reasonably priced alternative to daily rentals that are perfect for employees on probation and as cost-effective alternatives to pool and company cars.
