A30 St Erth Roundabout Resurfacing, near Hayle
Work to resurface the A30 St Erth Roundabout, near Hayle is due to take place between 29 November and 3 December 2010.
The work will take place overnight (from 8pm to 6am) to reduce inconvenience to drivers and will involve the closure of the A30 in both directions for two miles between Loggans Moor roundabout and St Erth roundabout.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in operation during the road closure.
Highways Agency Project Sponsor, Steve Phillips, said: “These works will provide a smoother road surface and maintain safety for road users.”
“Drivers should take extra care when driving through roadworks for their own safety and that of workers on the site.”
Westbound traffic will leave the A30 at Loggans Moor roundabout onto the B3301 through Hayle rejoining the A30 at St Erth Roundabout
Eastbound traffic will leave the A30 at St Erth Roundabout onto the B3301 through Hayle rejoining the A30 at Loggans Moor Roundabout.
The access from the A30 to Nut Lane will also be closed during the night time works.
Westbound traffic from Nut Lane will follow the B3301 and turn at the roundabout with B3302 to rejoin the A30 at St Erth roundabout via Griggs Hill.
Eastbound traffic from Nut Lane will follow the B3301 through Hayle to rejoin the A30 at Loggans Moor.
