DERBYSHIRE
Ongoing – A5111 Raynesway, new dual carriageway and major junction improvements
Start Date: August 2009 End Date: December 2010

Traffic Management:
A5111 southbound traffic diverted via new slip roads and roundabout (Alvaston road users via the newly constructed bridge).
· A5111 northbound traffic continues to the west of the original road to go to Alvaston or Derby but access to the commercial park, A6 south and the A50 is via the bridge.
LEICESTERSHIRE
Ongoing – A14/M1 Catthorpe Roundabout, resurfacing works
Start Date: Friday, 19 November End Date: Monday, 6 December
Times: Fridays from 10.00pm to Mondays at 5.00am
Traffic Management: M1 and M6 entry and exit slip roads and carriageway closure for roundabout resurfacing works.
Ongoing – M1/M6 Catthorpe Viaduct replacement, M1 Junction 19
Start Date: Monday, 12 July 2010 End Date: April 2012
Times: 24/7 with various other closures to be implemented.
Traffic Management:
· M1 northbound, traffic running on lanes two and three only with a 50mph speed limit between the M6 northbound exit slip road, up to junction 19 of the M1.
· Southbound, traffic running at two narrower lanes only (hard shoulder and lane one) with a 50mph speed limit between the A14 exit slip road and the M6 entry slip road.
· Lane closure and 50 mph speed limit on the M6 southbound from just after the A14 exit slip road until where the M6 joins the M1.
· Speed restrictions are in place on the M6 from west of the A14 exit slip road up to the A5 underpass which reduces the speed limit from 70, to 60 and then 50mph.
NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
New – A43 Brackley, resurfacing
Start Date: Tuesday, 23 November End Date: Tuesday, 30 November
Times: 10.00pm to 6.00am
Traffic Management: Overnight works to resurface roundabouts at Oxford Road, Buckingham Road and Northampton Road. A43 will be closed in both directions with diversion route following A5, A422, A413 and A421.

Traffic Management: Traffic management to include overnight off-peak road and lane closures and temporary traffic lights.

Traffic Management: Newtown Lane near the Margidunum roundabout will be closed for this period as part of the widening works
Ongoing – A46 Newark to Widmerpool, widening the carriageway, Saxondale roundabout
Start Date: Friday, 8 October End Date: Winter 2011
Times: 24/7
Traffic Management: Traffic approaching the Saxondale roundabout from both the A46 and A52 is being diverted using both the new and existing roundabouts before heading back to continue the journey on the existing carriageways.

Screveton (Lodge Lane) to Farndon

Traffic Management: Carriageway closures, temporary traffic lights, speed restrictions, verge working and works off the carriageway.
Ongoing – A46 Newark to Widmerpool, widening the carriageway, Stragglethorpe junction
Start Date: Friday, 25 June End Date: Summer 2011
Times: 24/7
Traffic Management: Traffic is diverted via the new northbound entry and exit slip roads, and via the new western roundabout as appropriate. All traffic management is signed for road users.
