Jaama predict 2011 the year of technology for fleet management

will be entering the new year with confidence as they predict that more and more organisations, both public and private sector, will invest in technology to help them cost effectively manage their transport operations.

That’s the view of Jason Francis, managing director of fleet management software provider Jaama, he said: “During 2010 we have seen many organisations invest in our online Key2 fleet management technology to improve operating efficiencies and health and safety compliance as they realise that their current practices are in fact costing them money due to their inefficiency.

In the last 12 months Jaama has won a series of major fleet software supply contracts, the most significant being with major public services provider Amey. Also, Jaama’s continuous policy of adding new and updated services to its Key2 system means that additional solutions have been provided during the last year to numerous existing customers including DHL, Serco, BCA, MITIE and the SIG Group as well as Fleet Hire and Days Contract Hire.

Mr Francis said: “While budgets across the public sector are being cut and money remains tight in the private segment, organisations must continue to invest. If investment is axed they will find they become less efficient and costs actually escalate.
