DERBYSHIRE
New – A38, Queensway, Derby ring road
Start Date: Sunday 27 February End Date: Friday 18 March
Times: 8pm to 6am
Traffic Management: Overnight lane closures with a signed diversion in place for lighting works from the Kedleston slip road to the Palm Court roundabout.
LEICESTERSHIRE
New – A46, Thurcaston, resurfacing
Start Date: Friday, 18 February End Date: Friday, 4 March
Times: 24/7 until 6am on Monday, 21 February; then between 8pm and 6am each evening
Traffic Management: Southbound carriageway closure between the junctions for Wanlip and Anstey with a signed diversion route.
Ongoing – M1, junction 23 near Kegworth, resurfacing and bridge repairs
Start Date: Thursday 17 February End Date: Friday 4 March
Times: 10pm to 6am
Traffic Management: Southbound only, closure of the southbound slip road onto the M1 at junction 23 with a signed diversion via junction 24. There will also be lane closures and a temporary 50mph speed limit on the main M1 carriageway.
Ongoing – M1/M6 Catthorpe Viaduct replacement, M1 Junction 19

Times: 24/7 with various other closures to be implemented.
Traffic Management:
A full M1 southbound overnight closure will also be in place on the evening of Saturday, 26 February from the junction 19 exit slip road to where the M1 meets the M6 between 7pm and about 1amM1 northbound – reduced running to two lanes only with a 50mph speed limit between the exit slip road for the M6 and the M1 Junction 19 entry slip road. M1 southbound – will run two lanes only from ½ mile north of the junction 19 exit slip road to the M6 southbound entry slip road. M1 southbound – a 24-hour hard shoulder closure and 50mph speed restriction will be in place from the A14 exit slip road to the M6 southbound entry slip road until April 2011. M6 southbound – a lane closure and 50 mph speed limit on the M6 from just after the A14 exit slip road to where the M6 joins the M1 until Christmas 2011. A stepped speed limit has also been introduced from 1.5 miles west of the A14 exit slip road up to the A5 underpass which will take the speed limit down from 70mph to 60mph and then down to 50mph.

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

Traffic Management: Traffic approaching the Saxondale roundabout from the A46 and A52 is being diverted using the new and existing roundabouts before heading back to continue the journey on the existing carriageways.

Traffic Management: Traffic is diverted via the new northbound entry and exit slip roads, and via the new western roundabout as appropriate. All traffic management is signed for road users.
