A.I.D. Fuel Card Services have added their endorsement of the Chancellor’s actions on fuel duty to those made by the Freight Transport Associate and .

Fuel card manager Lorraine Whittle said, “These are very positive movements, with crude oil continually on the increase it is encouraging that the Government have chosen to act responsibly and in the best interests of motorists and businesses alike. It is also clear that the excellent work of the Fair Fuel Campaign has been fruitful, something that all involved can feel very proud of.”

A.I.D. Fuel Card Services have backed the Fair Fuel UK campaign since January 2011. Peter Carroll, the Campaign founder said, "This is clearly a huge victory for the Campaign that is supported by the RHA, and the RAC. The recent price increases in fuel have hit people and businesses incredibly hard and today’s Budget announcement means some positive help for them. The Government has benefited from the recent fuel price rises and so the decisions announced today are very welcome indeed. All our team’s hard campaigning work is bearing fruit, but we still need to continue our push for even lower and affordable levels in fuel prices for the long term.”
