Tracker reports another crime-busting month
Over £1.5m worth of cars were safely returned to their owners by Tracker, according to a new monthly report.
Using VHF and GPS technology, Tracker’s SVR system enabled the police to pinpoint and recover 72 stolen vehicles throughout February, resulting in 12 arrests.
A further six vehicles, not fitted with Tracker locating devices, were also found as a consequence.
A £70,000 Mercedez-Benz SL300 was the most valuable car to be recovered, followed by a £55,961 Audi A6.
The least valuable car was a £4,000 Toyota Celica. In total, £1,591,361 worth of stolen vehicles were recovered.
Tracker Network UK provides tracking solutions to help companies manage their fleets beyond simply locating vehicles on a map. Tracker’s solution can monitor vehicle activity, plan efficient routes and work schedules, verify hours worked, and provide proof of service.
Tracker has helped recover more than 20,000 vehicles since 1993 with a collective worth of over £443m.
