Eco-car scheme attracts overwhelming interest
Morrison Utility Services experienced first hand the appeal of eco-friendly vehicles recently when the launch of its Green Car Scheme sparked an overwhelming response.
Within 24 hours of announcing the scheme at the start of the month, utility service contractor Morrison attracted over 400 quotation requests.
Around 1,300 UK staff could take advantage of savings on a range of cars emitting less than 120g/km of CO2 including cheaper insurance.
As a response to the level of interest, a website has gone live displaying the vehicles and quotes available.
“Reducing CO2 emissions is a priority for us and as lower CO2 cars offer greater savings under a Salary Sacrifice scheme this is a perfect way to lower emissions and offer our employees a valuable benefit at the same time,” said Kevin Shiers, HR Director with Morrison Utility Services.
Zenith Provecta was handpicked to run the scheme due to their expertise in the area, added Kevin.
“Their dedicated team is now working with us and advising our employees how they can best make use of the scheme,” he concluded.
