All hands to the pump for new Zenith Provecta contract
The team at Zenith Provecta have raised their glasses after securing the contract to manage fleet operations for pub chain Greene King.
The brewer has outsourced its entire fleet of 300 company cars and 100 cash allowance drivers to the independent fleet funding and management company who will integrate its systems with the Greene King’s flexible benefits portal.
Amanda Brakels, Head of Group Compensation & Benefits for Greene King, explained the company’s decision.
“We conducted a routine review of our fleet management systems and sought ways to improve the service delivery and reduce costs,” she said.
“We found in Zenith Provecta a partner with a proven track record in comprehensive fleet funding and management services that can deliver an all encompassing fleet solution with competitive, transparent and stable pricing.”
Zenith Provecta will handle Greene King’s cash allowance drivers, a key priority to the brewer, with its on-line Cash Allowance Management System (CAMS).
The system manages the financial and Health and Safety considerations of drivers who are not in typical company cars. It compiles a detailed profile for every driver, featuring details from what car are they driving to whether it is correctly maintained and insured for business use.
Responsible for keeping their profile correct and up to date, each driver is sent email prompts requesting information updates, conducting policy compliance checks and providing maintenance, service, VED, MOT and insurance reminders, as well as reminders to check tyres, water and oil. The system also automatically checks the driver’s license with the DVLA.
