Lights, camera, silence as Renault Fluence Z.E. stars at Cannes
Renault’s flagship EV – the Fluence Z.E. – has landed a starring role in this year’s Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off today.
There will definitely be silence on the set as a fleet of ten Renault Fluence Z.Es cart around some of tinsletown’s biggest stars for the next 11 days.
The 100% electric five seat saloon is being paraded at the prestigious event months before its official launch and those within the film industry are being encouraged to take time out to give it run along the Croisette promenade.
A number of charging stations have been permanently installed the Palais des Festivals car park which will be left in place for EV drivers after the festival.
With world premieres of films from Woody Allen, Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, Cannes Film Festival runs until 22 May.
