Micra overhaul for Edinburgh repair shop
One of Edinburgh’s largest accident repair companies has just taken delivery of 45 Nissan Micras, intended for courtesy car duties.
In a deal worth £385,000, the vehicles will be used by customers of repair shop Duddingston Coachworks while their vehicles are being fixed up.
The Micras have been provided by Straiton-based Nissan dealership Alex F Noble & Son with whom Duddingston Coachworks have a solid working relationship that goes back many years.
Bill Baxter, Manager of Duddingston Coachworks, was pleased with the new vehicles and knew exactly what to expect.
He said: “We used a fleet of older-style Micras previously and they were excellent.
“We were very happy to return to Nissan because the cars are priced right and are the size and quality that we need and because Micras are low-emission vehicles with zero road tax, it’s even good for the environment.”
Speaking on behalf of the dealership, David Noble said: “Fleet deals are always important to us, and our relationship with Duddingston Coachworks goes back many years, so we’re very happy to be providing them with these Micras.
“Because they’re very easy to drive, Micras are ideal courtesy cars and it’s good to know our vehicles will keep people mobile while their own cars are being repaired.”
