New Kia Picanto gets June street date

will release the second generation Picanto next month.

Starting from £7,995 on the road, the faster, cleaner and more economic Picanto will hit UK roads from 17 June with a higher spec than before.

Kia say the revised Picanto offers more style, luxury and higher quality without a premium price tag as well as more space despite hardly increasing in size.

The model will come with 1.0 and 1.25 litre petrol engines, returning 67 and 60mpg respectively with a top speed of 95 or 106 mph.

The larger engine comes with Kia’s EcoDynamics fuel-saving technology – an Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG) engine stop/start system or alternatively with an automatic transmission.

As with all new Kias, a seven year or 100,000 miles warranty is standard with every new Picanto.
