A19 Trenholme Bar to Crathorne northbound resurfacing
Resurfacing work will take place on the A19 northbound carriageway between Trenholme Bar and the A67 Crathorne junction this weekend.
The work will take place overnight from Sunday 5 to Saturday 18 June, between 8pm and 6am. During the work the northbound carriageway will be closed and diversion routes will be clearly signed. During the day a 50mph speed limit will be in operation as a temporary road surface will be in place.
Through traffic heading to the North and Teesside will leave the A19 at the A172 Tontine Interchange and following the A172, Stainton Way, B1365 Hemlington Lane, A174 Parkway then rejoin the A19. Local traffic will follow signed diversions along local roads.
Highways Agency project manager, Andrew Crawford, said: “This work will improve the road surface and minimise the need for future roadworks. We ask that drivers take extra care when travelling along the diversion route.”
