Integration the future of telematics say Isotrack and Kratzer

has partnered with KRATZER Automation, a European software company specialising in Mobile Logistics applications, to provide an enhanced application superior to any other product of its kind currently in the marketplace. This will be achieved by adopting KRATZER’s best-in-breed communications platform and software for hand held and fitted devices to communicate with Isotrak’s core Active Transport Management System (ATMS) product.

Both companies already service many of the same high profile customers, so the partnership makes perfect sense and will see two key industry leaders establish a joint standing in the Mobile Transportation management marketplace.

Isotrak’s Active Transport Management System (ATMS) provides customers with reductions in fleet road miles, fuel consumption, empty running, CO2 production, store and depot turnaround times and has enabled customers to reduce their fleet sizes. Isotrak’s Web Services Interface, which is core to its 3iS product, enables the KRATZER solution to be integrated with minimal effort from both parties.

The integration will see any message (including Driver Login/Logout, Text Message, Manifest Download) sourced from Isotrak’s ATMS, directed through the KRATZER server hosted in Isotrak’s data centre. This will provide Isotrak with a ready-built infrastructure for any mobile communications, helping their customers to stay ahead of the game in increasingly challenging times.

Greville Coe, Sales & Marketing Director at Isotrak commented: ‘Isotrak’s philosophy is to work with partners and leverage their expertise wherever possible. The use of KRATZER’s communications layer made perfect sense for both parties.’

David Burder, UK Country Manager at KRATZER Automation added: ‘We see both Isotrak and KRATZER working closely together in the future enabling customers to take advantage of a highly scalable, European wide Mobile Transportation management solution.’
