Toyota Auris Hybrid brings a ray of sunshine to solar power company

A batch of Toyota Auris Hybrid hatchbacks have been added to the fleet of EvoEnergy.

With CO2 emissions of just 89g/km and fuel consumption exceeding 74mpg, the T4 models were considered to be in keeping with the solar power specialist’s eco-ethics.

“Our aim is to facilitate everyone to benefit from green solar energy and, in line with that objective, we are trying to limit our environmental impact across our business, especially when we go out on the road,” said EvoEnergy’s CEO, Dr Kevin Hard.

“We decided that the Auris Hybrid would provide us with the best mix of size, comfort and efficiency.”

Seven of the T4 models have already been delivered with another five to follow shortly. The vehicles have been supplied thanks to the work of Trevor Bailey, Fleet Sales Manager at Inchcape Derby.

The Auris Hybrid has a low group 13E insurance rating, a car tax benefit-in-kind rating of 10 per cent, and qualifies for a 100% corporation tax write-down in the first year.

EvoEnergy’s sales staff and project managers will be the primary users of the Toyota Auris Hybrids, which will based at EvoEnergy’s Bristol and Halifax branches and head office in Nottinghamshire.
