Yorkshire and the Humber Roadworks Update 03/06/2011
Saturday 4 June to Friday 10 June
M1, Junction 41 (Carr Gate) to Junction 42 (Lofthouse), south of Leeds Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 41 (Carr Gate) and Junction 42 (Lofthouse) due to lighting column works. There will be various overnight lane closures until 9 June between 8pm and 6am.
M1, Junction 39 (Durkar) to Junction 41 (Carr Gate), west of Wakefield Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 39 (Durkar) and Junction 41 (Carr Gate) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures north and southbound from 1 to 11 June between 8pm and 6am.
M18, Junction 4 (West Moor) to Junction 5 (North Ings), east of Doncaster Moderate delays are expected on the M18 between Junction 4 (West Moor) and Junction 5 (North Ings) due to central reserve barrier works. There will be various lane closures, a 50 mph speed limit and narrow lanes north and southbound over 24 hours until the end of June.
M62, Junction 32 (Castleford), east of Wakefield Moderate delays are expected on the M62 at Junction 32 (Castleford) due to resurfacing. The westbound entry slip road will be closed between 8pm and 6am on 7 and 8 June. A signed diversion will operate M62 eastbound to Junction 33 and back westbound.
M1, Junction 42 (Lofthouse Interchange) to M62 Junction 29, south of Leeds Slight delays are expected at Junction 42 of the M1 (Lofthouse Interchange) due to maintenance work. The M1 Junction 42 southbound link to the M62 westbound will be closed overnight from 31 May to 6 June between 8pm and 6am. A signed diversion will operate via the Lofthouse Interchange roundabout.
M62 Junction 24 (Ainley), north of Huddersfield The westbound exit slip road at Junction 24 (Ainley) will close overnight from 8pm to 6am on 6 and 8 June. This is to allow maintenance work on CCTV cameras on overhead gantries at the site.
