Peugeot bares all with release of lead times data

Peugeot has published a table outlining the length of time fleet customers can expect to wait when ordering their new vehicles.

The standard lead time for all but four of ’s models is 11 weeks or less with, as expected, the larger models taking the longest to arrive.

Estimated lead times for the compact SUV 4007 is 18 weeks with the Boxer Van clocking in the second longest at 15 weeks.

If Peugeot’s data is accurate, then fleet customers should expect to wait an average of 78 days or 11 weeks for their vehicle. Click the Peugeot logo or the image below to get a closer look at the stats.

Numerous car manufacturers have struggled to keep factory lines since Japan’s earthquake and tsunami disaster in March, partly due to not being able to get hold of parts.

However, Peugeot has sent a message that suggests all is well within their camp and will release weekly updates on vehicle lead times to help fleet buyers make informed business decisions confidently.
