Mini Coupe coming this October
These are the first shots of the new Mini Coupe.
Released on 1 October with a £16,640 price tag, the sporty two-seater is the fifth model in the Mini family and brings four thrilling variants.
Available in three 1.6L petrol and one 2L diesel engine, the range topping Mini John Cooper Works Coupe is capable of reaching 60mph in 6.4 seconds with a maximum of 149mph – the fastest mass-produced Mini in history.
The Mini Cooper SD Coupe boasts the best fuel consumption with 65.7mpg and the cleanest engine with CO2 emissions capped at 114g/km.
A BIK value of just 13%, and zero first year road tax may be tempting selling points for company car drivers and fleet managers.
Standard spec includes DAB digital radio, air conditioning, park distance control, alloy wheels, 3-spoke sport leather steering wheel and sport stripes on the body work.
All four Coupes will be produced at Mini’s Oxford plant thanks to a £500m investment announced earlier this month [full story]. They will go onsale from 1 October.
