Wins all round as CLM bags Peel Group contract
CLM will handle all fleet-related business for North West property developer The Peel Group.
By managing the 127-vehicle fleet, which comprises Volkswagen, Audi and BMW models, CLM is expected to reduce fleet operating costs, tax bills and the group’s carbon footprint during the contract.
The fleet management specialist will introduce more hybrid vehicles such as the Toyota Prius, as well as carbon caps, ranging from 140g/km for job need cars, through 150g/km for middle management cars to 160g/km for senior management.
“This is a win-win-win situation,” commented Dale Mullane, Head of Procurement at Peel Group. “Everyone benefits.
“By reducing our carbon emissions across the fleet, we are not only helping hit our sustainability targets, but we are also reducing our drivers’ tax bills, lowering NI Contributions as well as spending less on fuel.”
Tony Hulatt (pictured), CLM’s MD, added: “We are delighted to have been selected by Peel Group to provide a fully outsourced fleet management solution and to assist in their targeting of a reduction in the corporate carbon footprint.”
