Peugeot 508 rolls into the fleet world with Easi-Drive deal

Blue Peugeot 508 Saloon 2011Easi-Drive has taken delivery for 38 Peugeot 508s, an order placed purely on the model’s reputation.

The Manchester-based accident management specialist became the first British fleet to receive the new 508 as Director Dan Bellamy received the keys to the new saloons and SWs.

Mr Bellamy says he ordered the vehicles in January, just from word of mouth, and reveals that customers have always been satisfied by .

“As soon as I heard Peugeot was bringing out a new large family car, I knew instantly we had to include it on our fleet,” he enthused.

“We started the company 10 years ago with just five cars, two of which were Peugeot. We’ve grown at a phenomenal rate and as we’ve expanded, so too has our fleet of Peugeot cars.

“Our primary goal is to get motorists who’ve unfortunately been involved in a road traffic accident, which might not necessarily have been their fault, back on the road as soon as possible, in a vehicle similar to their own.”

Dan added that he has never heard a single complaint from Peugeot drivers with many considering it an upgrade.

‘An incredible car’

Available since April, the Peugeot 508 was named Fleet World’s ‘Best New Car of 2011’ earlier this year.

With fuel economy capable of 53.4 mpg and emissions of 114 g/km, the model has already been dubbed ‘an incredible car’ by Phil Robson, Fleet Director for Peugeot.

Mark Warwick, Key Account Manager for Peugeot, added: “Easi-Drive was first out of the blocks in placing a 508 fleet order and deservedly became the first company in the country to receive its cars.”

“Since its inception, Easi-Drive has been a superb advocate of Peugeot, this year it’ll receive 180 cars from us and we are delighted Dan and his company continue to develop his business by using Peugeot cars.”
