Skoda and Yaris shine in satisfaction poll
Satisfaction and piece of mind are high on the criteria of any fleet boss in the market for new fleet vehicles so the findings of a new satisfaction poll should be most interesting.
The motoring public decided that Toyota’s Yaris Verso was voted the most satisfying model in Which? Car magazine’s customer survey.
Yaris owners awarded it a 97.7% satisfaction score and were won over by its versatility, reliability and how easy it is to drive.
The poll’s results did plenty to further Skoda’s ever more gleaming reputation, appearing four times in the overall top ten. Three of those slots were bagged by the aptly named Superb while its highest entry was scored by the Yeti.
Robert Hazelwood, Skoda’s Brand Director, was delighted with the survey’s results.
He said: “We’re very proud of the excellent engineering, industry-leading customer service and great value in every one of our cars, and pleased we’re giving people what they really want from the car ownership experience.”
The poll did nothing for French manufacturers, with seven French-produced models appearing in the top ten most dissatisfying list.
Renault’s Laguna Sport Tourer (below) came rock bottom with a score of 49.4%. Its critics bemoaning its on-engine electrics, poor handling, performance and build quality.
