Entry open for ACFO Awards 2011

The ACFO Awards highlight operational success rather than pure paper spec and showroom appealNominations are now open for this year’s ACFO , arguably the most prestigious honours in the fleet sector.

Decided by members of the Association of Car Fleet Operators, the awards aim to name fleet’s elite from the year’s best car to Fleet Service Company of the Year.

The winners will be announced in front of an anticipated 200-250 delegates at Birmingham’s four-star Hilton on 2 November.

Categories include:

  • Car of the Year
  • Small Van of the Year
  • Large Van of the Year
  • Green Vehicle of the Year
  • Fleet Service Company of the Year
  • Fleet Safety Initiative of the Year
  • Environmental Initiative of the Year

Julie Jenner, Chair of , said: “Winning or indeed being nominated for an Award is the preserve of an elite band of companies.

“Voted for by fleet operators, the ACFO Awards highlight operational success rather than pure paper spec and showroom appeal, demonstrably raising the marketing potential of any brand and providing an accolade that is highly respected throughout the automotive industry.”

ACFO members can email their nominations to gordon@eventsandpublishing.com until 30 September.

Stewart Whyte, Director & Membership Secretary, said all entries will be accepted before a shortlist is announced in October.

Models put forward for Car/Van/Vehicle of the Year must have been in operation and available to fleets for a minimum of 12 months.

The winners will be announced in front of an anticipated 2,000 delegates at Birmingham’s four-star Hilton on 2 November
