West Midlands Motorway And Trunk Roads Maintenance Programme: 12 to 18 September 2011
M6 Junction 7 (Great Barr) to Junction 6 (Gravelly Hill Interchange)
The southbound carriageway of the M6 between junction 7 and junction 6 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Thursday 15 September 2011 to Saturday 17 September 2011 for the installation of traffic sensors and carriageway repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 1 (Bromsgrove)
The southbound exit and northbound entry slip roads of the M42 at junction 1 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 5.00am from Monday 12 September 2011 to Saturday 17 September 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 3a (M42 / M40 Interchange)
The link road from the M42 eastbound to the M42 northbound at junction 3a will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Tuesday 13 September 2011 to Wednesday 14 September 2011 for sign and signal repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 5 (Solihull) to Junction 4 (Shirley)
The southbound carriageway of the M42 between junction 5 and junction 4 (including junction 5 entry slip road) will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Wednesday 14 September 2011 to Tuesday 20 September 2011 (excluding the weekend) for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 9 (Curdworth)
The southbound entry slip road of the M42 at junction 9 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Wednesday 14 September 2011 to Tuesday 20 September 2011 (excluding the weekend) for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M50 Junction 1 (Tewkesbury)
The eastbound and westbound exit and entry slip roads of the M50 at junction 1 will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 12 September 2011 to Saturday 17 September 2011 for drainage works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted. The east and westbound slips will not be closed at the same time.
