Leaseplan strikes hybrid deal with Toyota

’s European corporate fleet clients can now experience the latest hybrid technology thanks to a new deal formed with Toyota.

The mutually beneficial agreement will see share its knowledge in alternative powertrains, in return for Leaseplan’s know-how in managing 1.3m vehicles.

As one of the world’s leading fleet and vehicle management companies, Leaseplan will be able to provide new solutions that improve operations and shrink carbon footprints for corporate fleet customers.

LeasePlan buys several thousand Toyota and Lexus full hybrid vehicles every year and Vahid Daemi, CEO of LeasePlan Corporation N.V, said he was excited over the new relationship.

“For many years, we have worked with our clients on improving both operational and environmental fleet performance,” he explained.

“It is partnerships such as these that help us continue to meet the needs of our clients and, at the same time, further support our ambitions in this area. The insights we will gain through this relationship will be valuable to our sustainable mobility approach and will further support our global GreenPlan service.”
