West Midlands motorway and trunk roads maintenance programme: 19 September to 25 September 2011
M6 Junction 7 (Great Bar) to Junction 6 (Gravelly Hill Interchange)
The southbound carriageway of the M6 between junction 7 and junction 6 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 19 October 2011 to Tuesday 20 October 2011. The northbound carriageway of the M6 between junction 6 and junction 7 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Tuesday 20 October 2011 to Wednesday 21 October 2011 for the installation of traffic sensors and carriageway repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 5 (Castle Bromwich)
The northbound exit slip road of the M6 at junction 5 will be closed overnight from 9.30pm to 5.00am from Monday 19 September 2011 to Wednesday 21 September 2011 for sign / signal repairs for Midlands TechMAC. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 8 (M5 / M50 Interchange Strensham)
The northbound entry slip road of the M5 at junction 8 will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 19 September 2011 to Thursday 22 September 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 5 (Solihull) to Junction 4 (Shirley)
The southbound carriageway of the M42 between junction 5 and junction 4 (including junction 5 entry slip road) will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 19 September 2011 to Tuesday 20 September 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 9 (Curdworth)
The southbound entry slip road of the M42 at junction 9 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 19 September 2011 to Tuesday 20 September 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 3 (Redditch)
The northbound carriageway of the M42 between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 3 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 5.30am from Monday 19 September 2011 to Saturday 1 October 2011 (excluding weekends) for bridge repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 Onibury
The A49 at Onibury will be closed from 5.00am to 3.00pm on Sunday 25 September 2011 for essential rail track maintenance. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Leek Wootton
The southbound exit slip road of the A46 at Leek Wootton will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Tuesday 20 September 2011 to Saturday 24 September 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Muckley Corner to Hanney Hay, Brownhills
The westbound carriageway of the A5 will be closed from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 19 September 2011 to Thursday 22 September 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
