County Contractors opt for Renault with fleet replenishment

Grey Renault Kangoo 2008Renault has featured heavily in stage one of County Contractors’ fleet overhaul.

The South West business refurbishment specialist has introduced nine Master Vans, three Kangoo Vans [pictured right] and two Kangoo cars to its 70-strong vehicle fleet as part of a refreshment programme that will see the arrival of 30 new vehicles over the next 18 months.

Kevin Lee, Director at Weston-super-Mare-based County Contractors, explained why his business went with the French brand.

“Our decision to go for Renaults was based on the excellent value for money, high level of standard specification including Bluetooth and satellite navigation that we hope will prove invaluable to our employees who travel the length and breadth of the country,” he explained.

“Combine this with the technical advances made by resulting in good fuel economy and lower road tax due to the Euro 5 status achieved by the Master van, made our choice of manufacturer a relatively simple decision.”

Handing over the keys for the 14 vehicles, Mark Roberts, Sales Executive at provider S J Cook & Sons, said: “It’s always a pleasure to see a local firm celebrating so many years of success and we’re thrilled to supply a Weston-super-Mare business with its fleet requirements.

“The Renault van range is number one in Europe and part of its strength is its variety. County Contractors has selected vehicles of all sizes to form a reliable fleet to suit their staff and their specialist equipment.”
