Vauxhall ease administration process with ‘RoadTrip’ app
A new smartphone app designed to help lighten the hassle of working out expenses for business drivers has just been launched by Vauxhall.
Available for iPhone, ‘RoadTrip’ tracks business mileage with the aim of making it easier for company car drivers to submit business expenses and compiles a library of frequent journeys so users don’t have to re-enter information over and over.
Drivers simply choose a destination, route their journey and the administration-easing app calculates mileage rates, fuel costs and any other expenses such at tolls.
Once the journey is completed, the app can produce an expense report that company car drivers can then email over to their fleet manager as a CSV file.
Steve Catlin, Vauxhall’s Fleet Marketing Manager, commented: “When travelling on a daily basis, recurring expenses can cause frustration for employees.
“The RoadTrip app combines navigational tools with smart calculation software to offer an easy-to-use app for any employee on the road.”
