Highways Agency to undertake road marking and stud renewal works of the A45

Road users will benefit from safer driving conditions as a result of forthcoming road marking and stud renewal works on the between the Tollbar and Ryton Islands.

Work will start on Monday 17 October and is due to finish on Friday 28 October. All works will take place overnight between 8pm and 6.45am to minimise disruption to road users. Diversion routes will be signposted.

Highways Agency project manager, Purnima Kaul said:

“These works will improve driving conditions for motorists. The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum, and so is being carried out overnight, when traffic flows are lowest. We do advise drivers however to check conditions and leave extra time for their journeys if necessary.”
