West Midlands Motorway And Trunk Roads Maintenance Programme 3 – 9 October 2011
M6 Junction 5 (Castle Bromwich)
The northbound exit slip road of the M6 at junction 5 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 5.00am from Tuesday 4 October 2011 to Wednesday 12 October 2001 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 6 (Worcester North) to Junction 5 (Droitwich Spa)
The northbound and southbound carriageways of the M5 between junction 5 and junction 6 (including junction 5 and junction 6 entry slip roads) will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Thursday 6 October 2011 to Sunday 9 October 2011 for carriageway surveys. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 7a (M42 / M6 Interchange)
The link road from the M42 northbound carriageway to the M6 southbound carriageway of the M42 at junction 7a will be closed overnight from 9.30pm to 5.30am from Monday 3 October 2011 to Saturday 8 October 2011 for bridge joint repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 1 (Bromsgrove) to Junction 2 (Redditch)
The eastbound carriageway of the M42 from the M5 junction 4a to M42 junction 2 will be closed overnight from 9.30pm to 5.00am from Wednesday 5 October 2011 to Thursday 6 October 2011 for the installation of traffic sensors. This will also include the M42 junction 1 entry slip road and the link road from the M5 southbound at junction 4a. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 Leetbotwood to Fellhampton
The A49 from Leebotwood to Fellhampton will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 3 October to Tuesday 18 October for resurfacing work. A diversion route will be fully signed. Drainage works will also be taking place on the A49 at Fellhampton and Church Stretton between 6.00am and 3.00pm from Monday 3 October . Three sets of two-way traffic lights will be in place for the duration of these works. The work is scheduled to finish at the end of November.
