Yorkshire and the Humber Roadworks Update 29/09/2011

Saturday 1 October to Friday 7 October

M1, Junction 39 (Durkar) to Junction 40 (Ossett), west of Wakefield
Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 39 (Durkar) and Junction 40 (Ossett) due to survey works. Two lanes north and southbound will be closed until 1 October between 8pm and 6am.

M18, Junction 7 (Langham), west of Goole
Slight delays are expected on the M18 at Junction 7 (Langham) due to resurfacing. The north-west link road from the M18 to M62 will be closed from 28 September to 2 October between 8pm and 6am. Signed diversions will operate via the M62.

M62, Junction 27 (Gildersome) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Leeds
Moderate delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 27 (Gildersome) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to site clearance and installation of traffic management. The hard shoulder will be closed and there will be three narrow lanes in each direction with a 50mph speed limit over 24 hours. In addition, there will be various overnight lane closures and slip road closures between 8pm and 6am from 3 to 6 October, with signed diversions in place.

M606, Junction 1 (Chain Bar), south of Bradford
Moderate delays are expected on the M606 at Chain Bar (Junction 1) due to bridge works. The northbound entry slip road will be closed from 3 to 10 October between 8pm and 6am. A signed diversion operates via the M62.

M62, Junction 37 (Howden) to A63 South Cave, Hull
Severe delays are expected between Junction 37 of the M62 (Howden) and the A63 South Cave in Hull due to temporary diversions required to carry out carriageway renewal works. The eastbound carriageway and the exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight on weekdays from 26 September to 6 October between 8pm and 6am. The westbound carriageway and exit and entry slip roads will be closed for up to four weekends starting on 30 September, with full closures in place from 8pm each Friday until 6am each Monday. Signed diversions will operate via the local road network.

A64, Malton to Staxton, north west of York
Moderate delays are expected on the A64 between Malton and Staxton due to resurfacing. There will be various lane closures, convoy working and a 10mph speed limit in both directions between East Heslerton and Sherburn between 7pm and 7am from 3 October to 1 December.

At Ganton, there will be traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm, convoy working, various lane closures and a 10mph speed limit in both directions between 8pm and 6am from 3 October to 1 December.

In addition, the A64 will be closed in both directions between Malton and Staxton from 8pm on 7 October until 6am on 10 October. A signed diversion will operate via the local road network.

A180, Brocklesby, west of Grimsby
Moderate delays are expected on the A180 at Brocklesby due to resurfacing, layby improvements, road marking and road stud renewal. The westbound carriageway will be closed from 7 to 14 October with a signed diversion via the local road network.
