Highways Agency improvement works on the A45, between Knuston Farm and Jct 15 of the M1

Road users will benefit from improved driving conditions as a result of forthcoming resurfacing, road marking and stud renewal works along stretches of the between Knuston Farm and Junction 15 of the .

Work will start on Monday 17 October and is due to finish on Thursday 3 November. The works comprise two separate maintenance schemes that have been combined with all activity taking place overnight or at off peak times to minimise disruption for road users. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Mark Braithwaite, Highways Agency project manager, said:

"This essential work will improve driving conditions for motorists. The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum, and so is being carried out at times when traffic flows are lowest. We do advise drivers however to check conditions and leave extra time for their journeys if necessary."
