Yorkshire and the Humber Roadworks Update 14/10/2011
Saturday 15 October to Friday 21 October
M18 / M1, Junction 32 (Thurcroft), east of Sheffield
Slight delays are expected on the M18 at the junction with the M1 (Junction 32, Thurcroft) due to barrier works. There will be various lane closures and hard shoulder running on the link road from the M1 southbound to the M18 northbound, between 8pm and 6am, until 22 October.
M18, Junction 5 (North Ings) to Junction 6 (Thorne), north west of Doncaster
Moderate delays are expected on the M18 between Junction 5 (North Ings) and Junction 6 (Thorne) due to renewal of road studs and road marking. The southbound entry slip road at Junction 6 will be closed overnight on 17 October, with a signed diversion via the M18 north and the M62. The southbound exit slip road and various lanes at Junction 5 will be closed overnight on 18 October, and the southbound carriageway will be closed overnight at Junction 5 on 19 October with a signed diversion via the local road network. All closures take place from 8pm to 6am.
M62, Junction 27 (Gildersome) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Leeds
Moderate delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 27 (Gildersome) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to gantry and drainage work. There will be various lane closures between 8pm and 6am, narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in both directions over 24 hours.
M606 / M62, Junction 26 (Chain Bar), south of Bradford
Slight delays are expected on the M606 at the junction with the M62 (Junction 26 Chain Bar) due to bridge work. The southbound slip road will be closed overnight from 17 October to 13 November between 8pm and 6am. A signed diversion will operate via the local road network.
M180, Junction 5 (Barnetby le Wold), North Lincolnshire
Slight delays are expected on the M180 at Junction 5 (Barnetby le Wold) due to carriageway repair works. The westbound entry slip road at junction 5 will be closed for five nights from 17 October between 8pm and 6am, with a signed diversion via the A18, A15 and M180 Junction 4 (Broughton). There will also be one lane open on the westbound carriageway and westbound exit slip road.
A1(M), Junction 35 (Wadworth) to Junction 37 (Marr), west of Doncaster
Moderate delays are expected on the A1(M) between Junction 35 (Wadworth) and Junction 37 (Marr) due to bridge works. The northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed overnight on 17 October between 9pm and 5am. A signed diversion operates via the local road network.
A64, Malton to Staxton, north west of York
Slight delays are expected on the A64 between Malton and Staxton due to resurfacing. There will be various lane closures, convoy working and a 10mph speed limit in both directions between East Heslerton and Sherburn between 7pm and 7am, and traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm, from 12 October to 19 November.
At Ganton, there will be traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm, convoy working, various lane closures and a 10mph speed limit in both directions between 8pm and 6am until 19 November.
