West Midlands motorway and trunk roads maintenance programme 24-30 October 2011
M6 Junction 8 (M6 / M5 Interchange Ray Hall)
The southbound carriageway of the M6 at junction 8 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Saturday 12 November 2011 for bridge joint repairs and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 8 (M6 / M5 Interchange Ray Hall)
The link road from the M5 northbound carriageway to the M6 northbound carriageway of the M6 at junction 8 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Tuesday 25 October 2011 for carriageway repairs and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 4a (M6 / M42 Interchange)
The link road from the M6 southbound carriageway to the M42 northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Friday 28 October 2011 to Saturday 29 October 2011 for survey works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 4a (M6 / M42 Interchange)
The link roads from the M6 southbound carriageway to the M42 northbound and southbound carriageways of the M6 at junction 4a will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Saturday 26 November 2011 for street lighting and electrical works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 3 (Halesowen)
The northbound exit slip road of the M5 at junction 3 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Tuesday 25 October 2011 for safety fence and structural repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 3a (M42 / M40 Interchange)
The link roads from the M42 eastbound and M40 westbound carriageways to the M42 northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9.30pm to 5.00am from Wednesday 26 October 2011 to Friday 28 October 2011 for sign and signal repairs for Midlands TechMAC. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 6 (N.E.C. / Birmingham Airport)
The southbound entry slip road of the M42 at junction 6 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Thursday 27 October 2011 to Friday 28 October 2011 for communications works for Midlands TechMAC. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M40 Junction 16 (Henley-In-Arden)
The northbound entry slip road of the M40 at junction 16 will be closed overnight from 9.30pm to 5.00am from Wednesday 26 October 2011 to Friday 28 October 2011 for sign and signal repairs for Midlands TechMAC. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 Junction 5 (Hadley)
The eastbound entry slip road of the M54 at junction 5 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 5.30am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Friday 28 October 2011. The eastbound exit slip road of the M54 at junction 5 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm to 5.30am from Friday 28 October 2011 to Thursday 3 November 2011 (excluding the weekend). The closures are for bridge joint repairs and a diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M50 / M5 Interchange (M5 Junction 
to Junction 2 (Ledbury)
The westbound carriageway of the M50 between M5 junction 8 and M50 junction 2 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Thursday 27 October 2011 to Thursday 3 November 2011 for carriageway repairs and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Tewkesbury
The A46 / M5 Junction 9 Island will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Saturday 29 October 2011 (excluding the weekend) for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Longford
The A5 Island at Longford will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 24 October 2011 to Saturday 29 October 2011 for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45 Stivichall (near Coventry)
The eastbound entry slip road from Stivichall Island onto the A45 eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Tuesday 25 October 2011 to Wednesday 26 October 2011 for electrical works and sign repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 Felhampton and Church Stretton
Drainage works will be taking place on the A49 at Felhampton and Church Stretton between 6.00am and 3.00pm from Friday 21 October. Three sets of two-way traffic lights will be in place for the duration of these works. The work is scheduled to finish in mid-November.
