New online fleet intelligence system delivers Zenith’s “ultimate vision”

By

Fleet bosses can really set their finger on the pulse of their vehicles thanks to a new diagnostic reporting platform.

Zenith’s ‘Pulse’ is being sold as the ultimate online fleet intelligence system, throwing up data in real time on any aspect of users’ fleets.

Everything from delivery status and CO2 emissions to terminations, accident statistics, hire car spend, and fines can be analysed, giving customers a degree of visibility unavailable previously.

Tim Buchan, Chief Executive comments: “Pulse has been developed as one of our many innovative solutions, to enable our customers to run their fleets more effectively.

“Our ultimate vision was to have a dashboard that brings together every transaction the customer has had – for example, every fine, every accident, every time they have gone over contracted mileage, every hire car re-fuelling – so they can see the exception drivers in order to target them with behavioural change.

“Pulse will deliver this, providing fleet intelligence in an intuitive, interactive interface, providing all the data our needed, at the touch of a key. It is a fully transparent reporting platform that enables us to openly share data with our customers.”

Flexible

Tim adds that Pulse is available for tablets like the iPad as well as smartphones which means fleet and HR personnel can access all data relating to their vehicles anywhere, at any time.

“The system will also highlight exception reporting and trends on cost per mile basis,” he continues. “It is all about enabling fleets to be managed in a more cost effective manner.”

A number of large companies have been putting Pulse through its paces during its testing.

An impressed Justin Patterson, Head of Fleet Management at MITIE Group PLC, was one of the satisfied testers: “With Pulse, we now have the ability to interrogate any data on our fleet ourselves at any time and can view and download comprehensive graphs and tables.

“The system has already analysed our data, we just click on each tab and we can instantly see our CO2 figures, vehicle rental costs, accident statistics and maintenance figures for any and every vehicle on our fleet.

“We know exactly what the fleet is costing us on a day-by-day and vehicle by vehicle basis, what the trends are and which areas can be improved upon.”
