Public Sector embraces Skoda

has enjoyed a boost in sales and enquiries after appearing on the Government Procurement Service framework agreement earlier this year.

Public Sector workers have acquired over 5,700 quotes from the Czech brand which now counts the Environment Agency, Herts Urgent Care, Northumberland County Council and Priory Central Services Ltd as part of its client base.

The development has been mutually beneficial so far with local authorities and Government ministries reporting decent savings while Skoda seeing a 15% surge in sales.

Over 24,000 organisations are now eligible to purchase models like the 64.2mpg Superb Greenline II or 89g/km Fabia Greenline II using enhanced support provided by Skoda.

Martin Burke, Head of Fleet Sales at Skoda UK, believes the brand has become a go-to name for those looking to reduce costs without losing out on quality.

“We strive to impress all of our fleet customers with cars that offer a blend of high specification, low running costs, high standards of quality and excellent environmental performance,” he states.

“The whole life costs of our vehicles are very impressive, whilst the low CO2 emissions reduce tax payments and our economic engines cut fuel bills. The benefits are clear to see and we’re delighted that so many Public Sector organisations have already chosen to invest in Skoda.”

Skoda has been making lots of friends in the emergency sector, most recently the East Midlands Ambulance Service which called for over 60 Octavia Scout 4×4 fast response models [link].
