TyreSafe spins the black circle
Tyre Safety Month may have been and gone but that doesn’t mean TyreSafe will be having any downtime as it adds yet another recruit to its ever-growing member tally.
Online tyre retailer BlackCircles.com has signed up to help the non-profit organisation in its mission to highlight the importance of proper tyre maintenance and the risks associated with their neglect.
Mike Welch [pictured], MD of BlackCircles.com, said it was important that his company became involved: “A key priority for us has always been helping our customers to remain safe on the road by reducing the cost of their tyre purchase.
“Our decision to join TyreSafe now gives us a further opportunity to reach more people with our safety message and provide an information resource, through our website, that can help drivers to remain safe on the road.
“TyreSafe is the perfect partner for this safety push.”
As a company with around 1,300 tyre fitting centres across Britain, TyreSafe Chairman Stuart Jackson [left] was pleased to welcome BlackCircles.com into the TyreSafe clan.
He said their inclusion will make a real difference in helping spread the tyre safety message.
“With a high public profile, it will be a valuable addition to the organisation and will add even more weight to our good work,” he added.
“However, we want as many people as possible to know who we are and what we stand for and we can only do this if more organisations in the tyre industry put pen to paper and become TyreSafe members.”
Mike Welch concluded saying how delighted he was at BlackCircles’ gaining membership.
“TyreSafe has been at the forefront of tyre safety for a number of years,” he complimented. “We look forward to giving our support to future campaigns however we can.”
