Skoda sets new record with healthy fleet performance
A flourishing fleet market has been a major factor in helping Skoda break its annual sales record.
Fleet sales have grown by more than 30% during 2011 in comparison to registrations last year, taking the Czech brand’s all-time record for the year to 41,313, over 19,800 of which have been fleet registrations.
The new record may only be 73 units more than the previous best, set in 2010, but Brand Director Robert Hazelwood believes Skoda can end the year in style by breaching the 45,000 barrier too.
“This is a new record for Skoda in the UK but we’re not stopping here,” said Hazelwood.
“We have another month of trading to come in December, and we’re looking for a very strong finish to the year.
“Our congratulations to our retailer network who work very hard to deliver outstanding service to our customers and prospects. We’re looking forward to continuing our momentum into a great start to 2012.”
