Ogilvie’s new management portal “makes life easier for the fleet decision-maker”
Ogilvie Fleet has officially launched its new online fleet manager portal.
The result of a year-long development process and a six-figure investment, MiFleet Showroom securely delivers critical live fleet operational data in real-time and allows fleet operators to manage areas like vehicle orders, invoicing, vehicle service and MoT dates, fleet vehicle renewal dates and employee driver licence checks.
A traffic light system measures the urgency of any issues ie. an overdue vehicle service, imminent MoT or a driver close to losing their licence. The fleet manager can then choose to send an SMS or email to the driver through the portal.
Information on all vehicles can be accessed through a drop down menu such as contract data, technical data, taxation data, vehicle specifications and extras fitted and the full notification history.
Ogilvie Fleet believes MiFleet Showroom – which has been developed with the help of Jaama – is intuitive to use with all of the headline data available in less than three clicks of a mouse.
Remedy
Nick Hardy, Sales and Marketing Director for Ogilvie Fleet, said the traffic lights approach is simple and straight-forward and reckons the portal is the remedy to time-consuming excel spreadsheets.
“[This system] identifies fleet ‘exceptions’ at a glance and means that managers can take immediate action by, for example texting or emailing drivers to have their vehicle serviced or MoT’d,” he explained.
“From the moment a vehicle joins the fleet to the day it is de-fleeted, every necessary action or touchpoint can be studied and investigated.

Hardy added that fleet bosses can run standard reports from MiFleet Showroom or personalise them to meet their own requirements.
