North East roadworks update 17 to 23 December 2011
A1, Eighton Lodge Interchange, Newcastle Gateshead Western Bypass, Tyne & Wear Slight delays are expected overnight on the A1 at Eighton Lodge Interchange for bridge inspection works. There will be one lane open on the southbound exit slip road between 8pm and 6am. The works will take place 19 – 21 December.
A1, Lobley Hill to Dunston Interchange, Newcastle Gateshead Western Bypass, Tyne and Wear
Slight delays are expected on the A1 between Lobley Hill and Dunston Interchange for electrical works. There will be one lane open north and southbound between 10pm and 6am. The works will take place 19 – 20 December.
A1(M), Junction 63 to 64, County Durham
Slight delays are expected overnight on the A1(M) between Junction 63 and 64 for survey works. There will be lane closures in place north and southbound from 8pm to 6am. The works will take place 19 – 22 December.
A1, Baldersby (Junction 50) to Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire
Slight delays are expected on the A1 between Baldersby (Junction 50) and Leeming Bar (A684) for upgrading works. There will be narrow lanes, a contraflow and a 50mph speed limit operating 24 hours for full length of scheme both north and southbound. Works will be ongoing until Spring 2012.
A66, Scotch Corner to Sedbury, North Yorkshire
Slight delays are expected overnight on the A66 between Scotch Corner and Sedbury for survey works. There will be one lane open east and westbound from 8pm to 6am. The works will take place 20 – 21 December.
A66, Long Newton, Teesside
Slight delays are expected overnight on the A66 at Long Newton for survey works. There will be one lane open eastbound from 8pm to 6am. The works will take place 20 – 23 December.
