Fleet managers heading to the Company Car in Action event in Bedfordshire during June can gain top advice on running their fleets from ACFO directors.
Those that show up at Millbrook Proving Ground on 26-27 June will be able to sample vehicles on a variety of circuits to demonstrate how vehicles perform in different environments.
Vauxhall, SEAT, Citroen Peugeot, Honda, Toyota and Lexus will all be bringing along fleet specific vehicles for test drive with more manufacturers expected to confirm soon.
Julie Jenner, Chair of the Association of Car Fleet Operators, reckons the event would a great chance for fleet bosses to pick up some tips that could hammer out the kinks in their fleet operation.
“Running a vehicle fleet is no easy task when you consider the range of issues that fleet operators must take into account,” commented Julie.
“These include funding, managing fuel costs, taxation and vehicle choice lists while at the same time keeping employees safe on the road and ensuring vehicles are fit for purpose.”
The experts on hand will have vast experience in fleet management and will most likely have dealt with similar situations many times during their careers.
She added: “This is a unique opportunity for anyone with responsibility for an organisation's cars and vans to seek free advice on how to tackle any issues or difficulties they might have encountered as part of their job, at an event that also gives them access to a vast range of vehicles to test drive.”
