A new small business leasing programme has been launched by Volkswagen which aims to better serve the needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The German maker sees a fantastic business opportunity in looking after these companies, with an estimated one million SMEs across the UK running company vehicles. Setting up a Small Business Leasing programme last month, Volkswagen has already dealt with over 345 enquiries and new vehicle quotations for small businesses. One Retailer who has seen multiple success is Tony Burns from Dane Wirral Volkswagen. By seizing the initiative and prospecting local business he has already sold two vehicles via the scheme: a Scirocco and a new CC.
All small business needs and drivers' lifestyles are catered for through the Small Business Leasing programme, with vehicles available from every sector; from the newly launched city car, the up! through to the best-selling Golf, the Beetle, Tiguan, Scirocco and CC plus the ever-popular Passat saloon and Estate ranges, right up to the Touareg. There is also a large number of fuel-efficient BlueMotion Technology derivatives available too, to give excellent fuel economy, lower emissions and lower company car tax bills.
Although quotes can be generated and details logged on the dedicated Small Business Leasing area on www.volkswagen.co.uk, it's the human touch that makes the difference. Tony attributes the success to a face-to-face meeting with customers to finalise the deals, reinforcing the importance of being local to the customers' premises.
