Weekly summary of roadworks for M25: Wednesday 6 June to Sunday 10 June 2012

M25 Junction 16 to Junction 23
The main construction work to widen the M25 between junctions 16 to 23 is now complete. All four lanes are open to traffic in both directions at the national speed limit. The hard shoulder is available for emergency use.

Overnight lane closures continue this week in order to complete the removal of temporary equipment.

M25 Junction 27 to Junction 30
The main construction work to widen the M25 from three lanes to four between junctions 27 and 30 is complete. All four lanes are open to traffic in both directions at the national speed limit. The hard shoulder is available for emergency use.

Overnight lane closures continue this week as required.

M25 Cobham Motorway Service Area
Work to build the slip roads which will serve a new motorway service area near junction 10 continues this week. The clockwise carriageway narrow lane running has been removed and all lanes are now at the national speed limit. There is a 300 metre hard shoulder closure. The anti-clockwise carriageway currently has narrow lanes and a 50mph limit in place enforced by average speed cameras.

M4 Boston Manor Viaduct
Vehicles weighing 7.5 tonnes or more are restricted from using the westbound M4 between junctions 1 and 3 and the eastbound M4 between junctions 3 and 2 while structural inspection work continues on the Boston Manor Viaduct, just west of junction 2. A signed diversion route remains in place on the adjacent dual carriageways, the A312 and the A4.

M25 Junction 2
The anti-clockwise link road to the westbound A2 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for 11 nights from Friday 8 June for carriageway and structure repairs. On Friday night work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A2 Bean junction.

M25 Junction 12
The anti-clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am between the exit and entry link roads for resurfacing and structure repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion via M3 junction 1.

M25 Junction 20
The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 6 June for structure repairs and litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 18 for the entry slip road and via junction 21a for the exit slip road.

M25 Junction 26
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 6 June for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 28.

M1 Junction 2
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for three nights from Wednesday 6 June for drainage work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1 and A41 to junction 4.

M4 Junction 1 - 3
The westbound carriageway will be closed between junctions 1 and 3 on the elevated section overnight between 10.30pm and 5.30am for two nights from Wednesday 6 June for resurfacing work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via local roads.

M4 Junction 4
The westbound M4 to the clockwise and anti-clockwise M25 link roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 7 June for carriageway repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 5.

M4 Junction 5
The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for two nights on Wednesday 6 June for carriageway repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 6.

The eastbound carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slip roads overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Thursday 7 June for resurfacing works. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the roundabout to rejoin the carriageway.

M11 Junctions 4 - 6
The northbound carriageway will be closed between junctions 4 and 6 overnight between 10pm and 6am for three nights from Wednesday 6 June for carriageway repairs On Friday night work will start at 11pm. The link roads from the eastbound and westbound A406 to the northbound M11 will also be closed.

Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via M25 junction 28 for the main carriageway, via the Waterworks roundabout for the eastbound A406 link road closures and via the Woodford roundabout for the westbound A406 link road.

A1(M) Junction 4 - 3 (Hatfield Tunnel)
The southbound carriageway will be closed between junctions 4 and 3 overnight between 10pm and 5am on Saturday 9 June for tunnel maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1001.

A13
The eastbound exit slip road for the A126 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for 17 nights from Wednesday 6 June for carriageway repairs. On Friday night work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1012, A1306 and B186.

A2
The westbound link road to the clockwise M25 carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am for 17 nights from Wednesday 6 June for resurfacing and structure repairs. On Friday night work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the M25 junction 2 roundabout.
