The Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has become the latest NHS body to call on Tusker’s SS4C salary sacrifice car scheme.
Available to the 5,000-ish permanent Cornwall PFT employees willing to surrender a portion of their salary in return for a new car, Tusker’s SS4C has proved popular with organisations throughout both private and public sectors and anticipates yet more keen uptake.
Cornwall PFT switched its lease car scheme provider to Tusker in a bid to secure the option of wider car ownership to all staff.
Mark Eades, Associate Director of Human Resources at Cornwall PFT, is a strong supporter of the idea and is considering ordering his next new car through the scheme.
He commented: “We hope that our staff will be sufficiently encouraged by all the benefits and savings available in the scheme, including a high proportion of those that are currently on our lease car scheme.”
Addition
A gratuitous carbon cap of 150g/km will be in place for all new cars allowed under the scheme, a little loftier than other schemes out there.
Mark explains: “Being a largely rural community, we wanted to provide a suitable selection of vehicles, including 4x4s, for all our employees.” Fair enough.
Alison Argall [pictured], Tusker’s Business Development Director, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Cornwall PFT as the latest addition to the growing number of both public and private sector organisations that are signing up to our market-leading salary sacrifice car solution, SS4C.”
Tusker currently operates over 80 salary sacrifice for cars schemes throughout the UK.
