Green Flag wins ITM’s Roadside Assistance Company award

Best Roadside Assistance Company of the last 12 months, according to the ITM Green Flag has been named the best Roadside Assistance Company of 2012 by the Institute of Transport Management (ITM).

The 24-hour breakdown service was praised by the ITM for its dependability and receptiveness in a statement which read: "Green Flag is reliable, responsive and ultimately cost effective, and its high customer numbers are testament to its values.

“The ITM is very pleased to award it the title of ‘Roadside Assistance Company 2012'. Congratulations are due to all at the company - it is richly deserved.

"Green Flag provides a round-the-clock breakdown and recovery service with rapid arrival times, roadside repair where possible, prioritisation for vulnerable drivers and text messaging to confirm crew despatch.”

Mike Bowman, Green Flag DirectorThe ITM also commented on Green Flag’s eagerness to use new technology to improve its responsiveness, citing the introduction of the ‘Rescue Me' mobile app.
