TomTom has formed a partnership with Road Angel that will see the online retailer offer fleet management solutions.
The agreement will allow Road Angel to expand its commercial product range to include state-of-the-art systems, meeting a broader range of fleet management requirements.
Jez Strong, Sales Director for the seller of GPS-based products for the consumer and commercial markets, said: “The success of TomTom’s award-winning technology for optimising the safety, performance and efficiency of fleet operations, both large and small, is proven and recognised globally.
“This partnership gives Road Angel access to a global platform and complements the existing fleet product range with innovative, market-leading solutions from TomTom – including its extensive fleet reporting, as well as driver behaviour and fuel monitoring tools, all combined with market-leading satellite navigation.”
Giles Margerison [pictured], Director UK & Ireland TomTom Business Solutions, welcomed news of the agreement.
“This move reflects a growing trend towards consolidation in the fleet management market, allowing both TomTom Business Solutions and Road Angel to approach the future from a position of even greater strength,” he concluded.
